Business Risk Management - Central Testing - Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Central Testing team in performing operational effectiveness testing of internal controls.
• Provide day-to-day oversight of team members and conduct hands-on testing reviews to ensure high quality and timely completion.
• Ensure the control testing program runs efficiently and adheres to defined methodologies.
• Maintain effective, regular, and open communication with Business Risk Management and broader operational business units.
• Support managers with process improvements, initiatives, and team management activities.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and prioritize competing tasks in a deadline-driven environment.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in risk and control assessment, internal audit, SOX, or IFC.
• Proven experience in performing control design and operational effectiveness reviews or testing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English for interacting with senior internal stakeholders.
• Demonstrated project management and planning skills.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to make independent decisions and work proactively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional qualification in an audit or related field (e.g., ACCA, CIA, CFA).
• Experience working with large GRC systems.
• Knowledge of relevant compliance requirements and fundamental regulations such as AML/CFT or legal entity governance.
• Experience in a Big4 or large financial services company.
