Business Relationship Manager I - Officer

Responsibilities

• Acquire, manage, and retain a portfolio of 100-130 business clients with annual revenues between $1 million and $5 million.
• Provide customized business banking solutions, including deposit and cash management services, and manage business credit opportunities.
• Conduct in-person meetings with prospects, existing clients, and centers of influence to build long-term banking relationships.
• Identify personal financial goals of business clients and collaborate with internal partners like Wealth Management and Home Lending to meet their needs.
• Adhere to sound risk management protocols and regulatory requirements to protect the firm.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Business Banking Relationship Management role or related business lending experience.
• General knowledge of business credit, core business products, and how business needs vary by industry.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal partners at all levels.
• Ability to balance client needs with firm risk and manage daily priorities effectively.
• High proficiency in MS Office tools, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field, or equivalent professional work experience.
• A strong existing network of business contacts.
