Business Project Manager, Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-year investment product and service projects, applying functional expertise to drive results.
• Act as a liaison and advocate for investment products and services within the qualified plan recordkeeping business.
• Conduct impact analysis, recommend solutions, and resolve or escalate issues independently.
• Manage projects or multiple workstreams within broader programs, including developing and monitoring project plans and milestones.
• Identify opportunities and recommend process improvements to drive efficiency and quality.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership.
• Build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships to gain alignment and buy-in.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to align projects with company strategy and market conditions.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of investment products, markets, and industry workflows and infrastructure.
• Relevant professional experience in financial services or a related function.
• Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understanding of trade execution processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project management experience.
• Familiarity with qualified plan regulations.
• Experience with the Vanguard VISTA recordkeeping platform.
• Graduate degree.
