Business Process Expert Period End Close

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Business Process Owner and Finance teams to design, govern, and improve end-to-end Period End Close processes in SAP S/4HANA
• Lead workshops to capture requirements, validate pain points, and refine process designs with key stakeholders
• Document "to-be" process maps, controls, and ways of working while assessing "as-is" processes to identify inefficiencies
• Drive decisions through governance forums and align designs to programme milestones
• Define process performance measures and monitor adoption to ensure sustained benefits
• Engage and influence stakeholders across Finance, Operations, and Technology to champion a user-centric vision
• Support the transition from current to future state through disciplined change delivery and risk management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• 15+ years of experience designing, managing, or improving end-to-end finance processes
• Deep expertise in Period End Close within complex environments
• Proven experience in business process design, documentation, and governance
• Hands-on experience supporting or delivering ERP-enabled finance transformations, specifically SAP S/4HANA
• Strong analytical capability to assess process performance and drive data-led improvements
• Experience partnering with senior Finance stakeholders to drive strategic outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional qualification such as ACA, CA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or an MBA
• Experience working in Consumer Health or FMCG industries
• Experience working across multiple operating units or geographies
• Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change and adoption
• Ability to operate effectively within multi-year transformation programmes
