Business Process Expert Payments

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Business Process Owner to define the end-to-end Payments process vision, target operating model, and roadmap aligned to SAP S/4HANA
• Lead workshops to capture requirements, assess "as-is" pain points, and design user-centric "to-be" payment flows, roles, and controls
• Drive process governance by preparing decision packs and steering outcomes through various forums
• Define and embed KPIs and controls to measure payment performance, adoption, and risk
• Coordinate interdependencies across Finance and adjacent workstreams to align designs with programme milestones and release plans
• Create process documentation and partner with Training & Adoption teams to enable upskilling and benefit realisation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• 12+ years of strong end-to-end Payments process expertise in a global organisation
• Hands-on experience designing and documenting "to-be" processes, controls, and SOPs using process mapping tools
• Experience working with ERP-enabled Payments, preferably SAP S/4HANA
• Proven ability to define Payments KPIs and drive root-cause fixes across risk, compliance, and audit teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional qualification such as ACA, CA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or an MBA
• Experience in the Consumer Health or FMCG sectors working across multiple geographies
• Deep knowledge of payment-related risks, including fraud prevention, sanctions screening, and segregation of duties
• Experience delivering process change within large-scale ERP transformation programmes
• Familiarity with payments automation, RPA, or low-code solutions
