Business Process Expert Consolidation/External Reporting

Responsibilities

• Design, govern, and continuously improve end-to-end Record-to-Disclose processes supporting Group consolidation and external reporting.
• Provide subject matter expertise on financial reporting regulatory developments, including IFRS 18, and lead required process and control redesign activities.
• Partner with Sustainability, Finance, and Technology teams to support ESG reporting requirements, ensuring processes are integrated, auditable, and scalable.
• Drive the optimization of consolidation processes within a complex global environment, aligning business requirements with technology solutions.
• Support the design and enhancement of reporting controls and governance frameworks in alignment with SOX and other internal requirements.
• Lead root cause analysis and remediation for process, data quality, and reporting issues to drive sustainable solutions.
• Collaborate with Business Process Owners to document "to-be" processes and identify inefficiencies in current "as-is" states.

Requirements

• 10+ years of extensive experience in Group consolidation, statutory reporting, and external reporting within a multinational environment.
• Deep expertise in financial consolidation and Group accounting policies.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS reporting requirements and financial statement production processes.
• Proven experience designing and operating SOX-compliant reporting processes and control frameworks.
• Understanding of ESG reporting requirements and the interaction between sustainability and financial reporting.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership across Finance, Technology, and Sustainability.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex workflows and identify inefficiencies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in large-scale process transformation or ERP implementations (e.g., SAP S/4HANA).
• Experience with process standardization initiatives in a global setting.
