Business Process Engineer/RPA

Responsibilities

• Lead process discovery efforts within classified environments through stakeholder interviews and workshops
• Analyze and document current-state (“as-is”) and future-state (“to-be”) business processes
• Identify automation opportunities based on process volume, complexity, and mission value
• Develop Process Definition Documents (PDDs) and functional documentation for technical implementation
• Create process maps and workflow diagrams using BPMN, Visio, or similar tools
• Collaborate with developers and program managers to align automation with operational requirements
• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate automation solutions
• Track and report automation performance metrics such as cycle time reduction and hours saved

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• 4+ years of experience in process engineering, business analysis, or operations within a federal environment
• Proven experience developing Process Definition Documents (PDDs)
• Proficiency with BPMN, Visio, or similar workflow mapping tools
• Understanding of UiPath and automation concepts to assess feasibility
• Strong analytical and written communication skills
• Ability to work on-site in the DMV area

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Experience with UiPath Process Mining or Task Capture
• Experience supporting an RPA Center of Excellence (CoE)
• Familiarity with Department of Defense operational domains
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments
