Business Process Developer/AI Specialist

Responsibilities

• Partner with campus departments to analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation and integration.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy automated workflows and system integrations to streamline operations.
• Utilize approved AI tools to enhance daily business functions and improve organizational outcomes.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate AI solutions versus traditional technical approaches.
• Provide technical documentation, training, and ongoing support to ensure successful adoption of new solutions.
• Collaborate with the IT Security team to ensure all solutions comply with institutional policies and data governance standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field (or an Associate’s degree plus equivalent experience).
• 3 years of experience in requirements gathering, developing, and implementing reports and documentation in enterprise application systems.
• Familiarity with SQL and working with relational databases.
• Solid understanding of database and data warehouse concepts.
• Proven ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or associated certificates related to Information Systems.
• Experience working with an ERP platform in a higher education environment.
• Experience with API development and AI Agent development.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform (Canvas and Automate), Power BI, Python, Node.js, or MS Graph.
