Business Partner, Supply Chain Manager - Mechanical

Responsibilities

• Define and implement sourcing and procurement strategies for service and repair parts
• Collaborate with regional and global supply chain organizations to execute sourcing strategies
• Identify and execute cost savings opportunities to support annual material productivity goals
• Develop business cases and ROI for cost savings initiatives
• Plan and execute RFPs and RFQs for engineering changes, new product introductions, and risk mitigation
• Drive new supplier and part qualification activities through to approval
• Monitor and manage supplier performance regarding quality, delivery, and cost
• Act as the primary escalation point for supplier delivery issues within the supply organization
• Lead process improvement activities and support weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain category management for mechanical systems and components
• Proven experience leading sourcing projects and supplier negotiations
• Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERP supply management or purchasing applications
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the elevator industry
• Background in manufacturing sectors such as construction or automotive
• Experience with JDE, MS Access, Power BI, or MS Project
