Powerline is a fast-growing, VC-backed software company dedicated to transforming the modern electricity grid through cutting-edge AI and machine learning. Our core platform, Battery Co-Pilot™, leverages advanced AI digital twins to optimize utility-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS).

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional special projects from concept to execution
• Build quantitative models, dashboards, and frameworks to track company-wide KPIs
• Serve as the connective tissue between technical AI/ML engineering teams and commercial leads
• Audit existing startup processes and design scalable workflows
• Synthesize technical and financial data into high-impact narratives for leadership and board discussions

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, product, or investing
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills including financial modeling and data analysis
• Ability to operate in ambiguity and drive cross-functional initiatives independently
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Customer-facing and relationship-building experience in enterprise or B2B settings
• Experience working closely with technical teams (AI/ML, software engineering, data science)

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with power markets, renewable energy, or battery storage
• Experience in high-growth environments or startups
• MBA from a top-tier business school
