About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily dispatching for Ace Handyman Services, matching craftsmen to jobs based on skill and availability
- Act as the primary contact for customer concerns to ensure professional and prompt resolution
- Support the employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, training, and coaching
- Track operational performance and generate reports on revenue, booking rates, and efficiency
- Manage invoicing, accounts receivable, and payroll preparation
- Handle day-to-day bookkeeping for Nicollet Ace Hardware, including transaction reconciliation and cash deposits
- Maintain house accounts, post payments, and coordinate payables
- Oversee general office administration and personnel paperwork compliance
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in office management, operations, bookkeeping, or business administration
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain high attention to detail
- Strong proficiency in bookkeeping principles and general office software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service
- High level of comfort learning and adapting to new technology systems
- Ability to work independently and as a cooperative team player
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using ServiceTitan or similar field service management software
- Direct experience with QuickBooks or equivalent accounting platforms
- Previous background in trades, construction, or retail operations
- Experience tracking KPIs and creating actionable operational reports
