About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily dispatching for Ace Handyman Services, matching craftsmen to jobs based on skill and availability
  • Act as the primary contact for customer concerns to ensure professional and prompt resolution
  • Support the employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, training, and coaching
  • Track operational performance and generate reports on revenue, booking rates, and efficiency
  • Manage invoicing, accounts receivable, and payroll preparation
  • Handle day-to-day bookkeeping for Nicollet Ace Hardware, including transaction reconciliation and cash deposits
  • Maintain house accounts, post payments, and coordinate payables
  • Oversee general office administration and personnel paperwork compliance

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in office management, operations, bookkeeping, or business administration
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain high attention to detail
  • Strong proficiency in bookkeeping principles and general office software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service
  • High level of comfort learning and adapting to new technology systems
  • Ability to work independently and as a cooperative team player

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using ServiceTitan or similar field service management software
  • Direct experience with QuickBooks or equivalent accounting platforms
  • Previous background in trades, construction, or retail operations
  • Experience tracking KPIs and creating actionable operational reports
