About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the Chief Business Officer, providing guidance on CRM strategy, internal process design, and operational decision-making.
  • Deliver data-driven insights regarding team performance, product utilization, forecasting, and revenue trends.
  • Build and maintain account tiering and prioritization frameworks to focus business development efforts on high-value opportunities.
  • Oversee and track global OKRs to ensure alignment with long-term company strategy.
  • Manage day-to-day business development operations, including pipeline management, deal flow, and forecasting.
  • Develop and lead training sessions for the business development team on tools and processes.
  • Coordinate LayerZero's presence in key meetings, events, and collaborations.
  • Support go-to-market (GTM) strategies and product launches to ensure seamless customer engagement.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in business operations, revenue operations, sales operations, or a similar function.
  • Deep understanding of BD/sales operations, including pipeline management, deal tracking, and forecasting methodologies.
  • Proven ability to build and improve operational processes, such as SOPs, automation, and cross-functional workflows.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience building dashboards and performance reports.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Linear.
  • Experience working in a tech startup, high-growth, or Web3 environment.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills and the ability to act as "connective tissue" between BD, Finance, Legal, Product, and Marketing.
  • Highly organized and comfortable operating with a high degree of ownership and ambiguity.
