About the role

Blacksmith builds infrastructure to run CI workloads faster and cheaper by operating a global fleet of bare-metal machines. They orchestrate tens of millions of Firecracker VMs monthly for over 3,000 companies and are backed by Google Ventures (GV).
Responsibilities
- Own and run core operational processes including billing, employee onboarding, and vendor management
- Act as a force multiplier for founders by anticipating needs and unblocking bottlenecks
- Manage calendars, documentation, follow-ups, and internal processes
- Automate repetitive tasks and proactively use AI tools to solve problems
Requirements
- Prior experience in startups, consulting, or fast-paced operations environments
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and solve undefined problems
- High attention to detail and resourcefulness
- Ability to work in person 5 days a week in San Francisco
