Business Operations Director - Finance

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary strategic finance partner to the Flight Solutions Group President, driving financial performance and operational rigor.
• Develop and execute financial strategies to support growth, margin discipline, and operational excellence.
• Lead the annual budget process, quarterly forecasts, long-range planning, and variance analysis.
• Conduct financial assessments of investment opportunities, including aircraft/engine teardown programs and USM acquisitions.
• Build and mentor a high-performing global finance team, establishing KPIs and coaching for increased business acumen.
• Partner with supply chain, commercial, and sales teams to maximize ROI on material investments and reduce obsolescence.
• Ensure financial reporting adheres to GAAP and relevant aviation regulations while maintaining robust internal controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in finance or business operations.
• Exceptional FP&A, financial modeling, and valuation capabilities.
• Advanced Excel skills (power user).
• Deep understanding of investment analytics, including MOIC and the impact of leverage.
• Proven success in high-growth, operationally complex, or asset-heavy global environments.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and cross-functional influence skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA, CPA, or equivalent advanced professional credentials.
• Experience in the aviation, aerospace, or supply chain industries.
