Business Operations Director

Responsibilities

• Lead the Space Force Range Contract (SFRC) Enterprise Services Directorate, overseeing disciplines including Finance, HR, Procurement, IT, and Contracts
• Provide leadership and operational direction to functional area managers to ensure mission success
• Oversee the completion of all ESD-responsible SFRC proposal initiatives and promises
• Develop and administer programs, procedures, and systems to ensure proactive analysis and operational control
• Identify and implement continuous improvements and operational efficiencies through value management
• Maintain contract cost and schedule baselines, cost reporting, staffing levels, and recruitment
• Ensure all operational areas comply with the SFRC Performance Work Statement and government regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field (MBA preferred)
• Minimum of 15 years of experience managing employees and functional groups
• Extensive experience establishing and generating budgets, baselines, forecasts, reports, and proposals
• Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
• Experience working in process-driven environments and communicating across diverse program teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PeopleSoft and/or Cost Point
• Understanding of Public/Private Partnerships and Performance-Based contract constructs
