Business Operations Associate

Responsibilities

• Provide financial support to the Athletics Business Office through journal entries, expense reimbursements, deposits, and purchase orders
• Receive, record, and manage all forms of revenue including checks and wire transfers
• Review team travel transactions, including airfare, meals, and hotel folios, to ensure compliance
• Process travel vouchers and Quick Pay transactions for sports teams in a timely manner
• Reconcile monthly financial transactions to the general ledger
• Audit and approve monthly credit card processing for assigned departments to ensure compliance with University and NCAA regulations
• Assist with the financial estimating, processing, and reconciliation of Sport Camps
• Support year-end financial processing and assist with annual University and NCAA compliance audits

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
• Four-year degree in accounting preferred (Associate's degree with equivalent experience considered)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Solid understanding of general accounting principles, including debits and credits
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with students, coaches, and staff

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within an educational institution
• Background in athletics administration or athletic department operations
