Harper is an AI-native commercial insurance company in San Francisco. We're rebuilding the entire business as software, turning expert human judgment into compute to transform a trillion-dollar industry.

Responsibilities

• Run the operation including underwriter follow-ups, carrier communications, and pipeline management
• Build scalable systems, processes, and workflows to make manual work obsolete
• Manage relationships with customers and underwriters to ensure nothing falls through the cracks
• Enable sales teams with data, materials, and feedback loops
• Touch the full business lifecycle from intake and onboarding to servicing and renewals
• Translate operational pain points into product requirements for the engineering team

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in a high-pace environment (startup, consulting, banking, or operations)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to derive insights from spreadsheets and make decisive calls
• High bias toward action
• Based in San Francisco or willing to relocate immediately
• Ability to work on-site in San Francisco with long hours (approx. 5 AM–8 PM)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior startup or founder experience
• Exposure to insurance, fintech, or regulated industries
• Familiarity with CRM, workflow automation, or AI-assisted tooling
• Background in sales, customer success, or account management
