Business Operations and Growth Lead

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute growth strategies to increase the success of the Airbnb platform in the Japan market
• Lead the growth of origin guest demand, aiming to significantly increase market penetration
• Partner with the Country Manager to align functional teams behind common market objectives
• Build analytical frameworks and models to support strategic decision-making
• Act as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Sales) to provide local insights and feedback on key launches
• Operationalize multiple programs simultaneously, managing them from initial analysis through to execution

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in consulting or tech project management
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams across different departments
• Strong data-driven strategic thinking skills
• Proficiency in Excel and SQL
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Hospitality or Online Travel Agency (OTA) industry
• Bilingualism in Japanese
