Business Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

• Perform undergraduate admission functions including application processing, transcript verification, and application evaluation
• Maintain data integrity and support admission operations to meet student enrollment goals
• Communicate effectively with applicants regarding admission requirements and processes
• Manage complex processes requiring independent judgment and detailed policy knowledge
• Prepare project plans, forecast workloads, and implement instruments for tracking workflow
• Analyze data and procedures to recommend updates and improvements to admission practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 1-2 years of related job experience
• Knowledge of Student Information Systems, Slate, and Perceptive Content
• Working knowledge of admission requirements for the campus, school, and college
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize assignments under competing deadlines
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of the UC Application for Undergraduate Admission
• Experience working with a diverse student population
• Demonstrated working knowledge of UA office policies, processes, and procedures
• Ability to interpret UC policies and procedures for prospective applicants and the public
