About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all office activities including clinical records and data entry
  • Maintain patient records and sufficient office supplies
  • Prepare for meetings and coordinate telephone calls
  • Assist with direct patient expenditures, employee timesheets, and personnel records
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information
  • Ensure clinical records comply with Medicare regulations
  • Manage incoming, outgoing, and interoffice mail
  • Input data for billing purposes
  • Track admission, discharge, and certification dates
  • Assist with audits of patient information
  • Participate in community activities such as health fairs

Requirements

  • High school education minimum
  • Knowledge of spelling, punctuation, and grammar
  • Proficiency with office machines and telephone skills
  • Aptitude for computer data entry and software systems
  • Valid driver's license and personal car for travel
  • Personal auto liability insurance coverage
  • Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds
