About the role
Responsibilities
- Promoting and selling a range of pharma and biotechnology filtration products
- Identifying potential customers and developing strategies to attract new business
- Maintaining in-depth product knowledge and staying current with industry trends
- Providing technical support and product demonstrations to customers
- Communicating product benefits and features to potential and current customers
- Maintaining relationships with existing clients and establishing new relationships with potential clients
- Working closely with the product development team to understand new product features
- Preparing sales reports and meeting sales targets
- Attending industry conferences, seminars, and networking events
- Providing feedback to the company about the market, product issues, and customer concerns
Requirements
- Engineering or Science background with Post Graduation
- Experience in Process, Chemical, Biochemistry, or Biotech sectors
- Sales experience in filtration, WFI, pharma plants, Process Systems, TFF, or Sterile equipment
- Knowledge of Pharma machinery OEMs and Single use Technologies
- Ability to discuss pharma/biotech products, processes, filter validation, P&IDs, and utilities
- Experience working with Pharma/Biotech end users, engineering consultants, and project/purchase managers
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
