About the role

Responsibilities

  • Promoting and selling a range of pharma and biotechnology filtration products
  • Identifying potential customers and developing strategies to attract new business
  • Maintaining in-depth product knowledge and staying current with industry trends
  • Providing technical support and product demonstrations to customers
  • Communicating product benefits and features to potential and current customers
  • Maintaining relationships with existing clients and establishing new relationships with potential clients
  • Working closely with the product development team to understand new product features
  • Preparing sales reports and meeting sales targets
  • Attending industry conferences, seminars, and networking events
  • Providing feedback to the company about the market, product issues, and customer concerns

Requirements

  • Engineering or Science background with Post Graduation
  • Experience in Process, Chemical, Biochemistry, or Biotech sectors
  • Sales experience in filtration, WFI, pharma plants, Process Systems, TFF, or Sterile equipment
  • Knowledge of Pharma machinery OEMs and Single use Technologies
  • Ability to discuss pharma/biotech products, processes, filter validation, P&IDs, and utilities
  • Experience working with Pharma/Biotech end users, engineering consultants, and project/purchase managers
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
