Business Manager

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day business management of the Macro & Fixed Income platform in EMEA, translating investment goals into resourcing and infrastructure requirements.
• Manage the onboarding lifecycle for new PM teams, including capital allocation, risk limits, and trading-system connectivity.
• Analyze desk P&L, risk, liquidity, and balance-sheet usage to recommend actions for capital efficiency.
• Build and maintain KPI dashboards and use AI/ML-driven analytics to identify patterns in performance and cost data.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects across operations, treasury, compliance, and technology.
• Manage the vendor lifecycle for trading and analytics platforms, including contract tracking and SLA monitoring.
• Ensure business operations remain compliant with EMEA regulatory frameworks (FCA, DFSA, ESMA).

Requirements

• 5-8 years of business management, COO, or product-related experience on the buy-side or sell-side.
• Deep product knowledge in rates and FX cash & derivatives (swaps, futures, options, NDFs, etc.).
• Strong understanding of pricing, valuation, risk, funding, liquidity, and margin.
• Proficiency in Excel and VBA; familiarity with Python, SQL, or PowerBI is preferred.
• Experience with AI/ML tools and the ability to apply automation to business processes.
• Familiarity with EMEA-specific regulatory environments.
• Strong project management, negotiation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within multi-PM hedge fund platforms.
