Business Manager - Neurosurgery

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business strategies for both consumable and capital neurosurgery portfolios
• Manage Business Unit financial performance, including P&L, forecasting, and budgeting
• Build and maintain strong relationships with medical principals, key accounts, and KOLs
• Oversee agency relationships, ensuring valid distribution contracts and approved business plans
• Lead sales management by spending time in the field with Product Specialists and monitoring market share
• Drive product management activities including new product assessment, pricing, and marketing initiatives
• Manage stock control, capital expenditure, and regulatory collaboration for product launches

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of sales and marketing experience, preferably within the medical or surgical industry
• Tertiary qualifications in management, marketing, or a related field
• Proven understanding of stock management and P&L performance
• Knowledge of TGA and regulatory affairs
• Ability to travel extensively to support business needs
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Functional neurosurgery clinical and commercial experience
• Experience mentoring staff and leading teams
• Strong understanding of business management fundamentals and general finance
