Business Manager, Credit COO Office

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic partner to the Credit COO, translating business and infrastructure initiatives into actionable plans.
• Lead the onboarding of new Portfolio Manager (PM) teams, including market-data entitlements, trading-system connectivity, and counterparty onboarding.
• Coordinate pre-launch testing, market data, and trading integrations for newly onboarded PMs.
• Design dashboards for KPIs and business metrics to drive performance analytics.
• Lead high-priority, cross-functional projects across operations, treasury, compliance, and technology.
• Manage the vendor lifecycle for trading and analytics platforms, including contract negotiation and SLA governance.
• Conduct cost/benefit analyses for data, analytics, and technology spend to track ROI and realized savings.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in business management, a COO office, or a product-related role.
• Experience within a Buy-Side (hedge fund, asset manager) or Sell-Side fixed income business.
• Strong knowledge of Fixed Income or Credit products.
• Proficiency with trading technologies, including order/execution management systems and market-data feeds.
• Advanced analytical skills with mandatory proficiency in Excel and VBA.
• Based in New York, NY.
• Exceptional project management, prioritization, and stakeholder-influencing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, or PowerBI.
• Experience managing complex vendor relationships and contract negotiations.
