Business Manager

Responsibilities

• Construct customer quotations in line with business standard metrics and documentation
• Generate and maintain the company cost and price system for all changes post-nomination
• Work with the Programme Development Team to ensure customer expectations are met
• Lead regular program meetings with customers both on and off-site
• Report the financial position of programs within the company product portfolio
• Support the commercial aspects of VA/VE ideas to support business requirements
• Support sales and program management in responding to new business RFQs
• Negotiate with customers to achieve pricing expectations while surpassing company metrics
• Develop pricing estimates including part piece price, tooling, and capex
• Manage and communicate program financial status reporting within company frameworks

Requirements

• Substantial experience in the automotive industry in a Commercial, Account Management, or Costing role
• Experience within a regional or global organization (JLR experience preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Strong communication skills for interacting with all levels of customers and internal stakeholders
• Adaptability regarding work location and business travel

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineering background
• Experience with new commercial methodologies and data tools
