About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the Capital Markets COO and senior business heads in day-to-day management and strategic development.
- Drive and coordinate key business initiatives from initial concept through to delivery and implementation.
- Act as a central point of coordination across Front Office, Operations, Technology, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Finance.
- Lead large, business-critical initiatives including new business launches and regulatory-driven change.
- Develop scalable operating models, governance frameworks, and management information.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and control across business processes.
- Partner with control functions to maintain a strong governance environment and coordinate responses to audits or regulatory reviews.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in a COO, Business Management, Chief of Staff, or Programme Delivery role within financial services.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale, cross-functional business initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and align senior leadership.
- Excellent organizational and execution skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Understanding of key financial regulations, such as MiFID II or Payment Service Regulations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the preparation of materials for executive governance forums.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Capital Markets, specifically FX or Payments asset classes.
- Knowledge of Bilateral OTC FX, FX Prime Brokerage, or money movement workflows.
- Familiarity with FX products including Spot, Forwards, NDFs, and Options.
- Understanding of ISDA/CSA frameworks, CLS, SWIFT, or settlement infrastructure.
