Business Intelligence Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and KPI scorecards for banking operations.
• Build and maintain semantic data models and OLAP structures to enable scalable self-service analytics.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Risk, and Investment stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Optimize SQL queries and ETL processes to ensure efficient data integration from multiple sources.
• Develop actionable insights and predictive analytics to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with security policies within the Treasury scope.
• Provide training and support to business users on BI tools and data interpretation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of hands-on experience in Business Intelligence and data analytics, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Advanced expertise in Power BI and data visualization.
• Strong command of SQL for querying, data modeling, and ETL development.
• Proficiency in Python and statistical programming.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with platforms like Microsoft SQL Server or SAS.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative field.
• Professional certifications in Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience with cloud-based BI platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Exposure to AI/ML tools, algorithms, and natural language processing (NLP).
• Experience with Matlab or other statistical plotting tools.
