Business Intelligence Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define the data consumption strategy across the organization and monitor performance trends
• Collaborate with engineering and product functions to build scalable data models and architecture
• Drive integration of AI capabilities to build BI-focused applications and automated insights
• Define processes and best practices for data modeling, consumption, querying, and reporting
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for the analytics tech stack

Requirements

• 2-4 years of data analytics or BI engineering experience
• Advanced SQL and Big Data skills for complex queries
• Expertise in Hive internals and query optimization
• Strong understanding of BI and data visualization principles
• Knowledge of leveraging AI/LLMs for BI applications
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and pipelines
• Strong understanding of data architecture and modeling
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of Airflow pipelines and data orchestration
