Business Intelligence Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Build analytical frameworks to help operations streamline processes and identify gaps in existing workflows.
• Translate complex or ambiguous business problems into actionable analysis requirements.
• Scale data processes and reports by writing efficient queries and collaborating with data engineering for automation.
• Develop near real-time dashboards and self-serve capabilities to provide operational visibility.
• Derive data-driven recommendations to impact departmental processes and improve network efficiency.
• Communicate complex analytical insights, roadblocks, and project timelines to stakeholders.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience analyzing and interpreting data using Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, or similar technologies.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, QuickSight, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Python, Java, or R.
• Knowledge of statistical methods (e.g., t-test, Chi-squared) and industry analytics visualization tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or an advanced technical degree.
• Knowledge of data modeling and data pipeline design.
• Experience with advanced statistical analysis and correlation analysis.
