Business Intelligence Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex, interactive dashboards and self-service reports using BI tools like Looker, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Work closely with product owners, business stakeholders, and customers to translate reporting requirements into scalable BI solutions.
• Write and optimize advanced SQL queries to support data extraction, transformation, and analysis across large datasets.
• Contribute to the design and evolution of data models, semantic layers, and data pipelines in collaboration with data engineering.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reliability by implementing validation and testing approaches across all reporting solutions.
• Participate in architectural discussions and drive best practices in data visualization, governance, and security.

Requirements

• Experience designing and evolving scalable business intelligence solutions, including data models and reporting frameworks.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience working with large-scale data in cloud data warehouse or lakehouse environments (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift).
• Proven experience building and maintaining robust dashboards using modern BI tools (Looker, Tableau, or Power BI).
• Strong understanding of data modeling and transformation practices, such as ETL/ELT and dimensional modeling.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into technical data solutions and communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work from the Prague office in compliance with company policies.
