Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst – Finance

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial dashboards and reports using BI tools like Power BI or Tableau
• Analyze financial data including revenue, expenses, profit margins, and forecasting metrics
• Write complex SQL queries to extract data from financial databases
• Work with finance teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Automate recurring financial reports and improve reporting processes
• Collaborate with accounting, finance, and leadership teams to deliver actionable insights
• Build and own daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly finance dashboards
• Maintain data accuracy and ensure data governance standards are followed

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, financial analysis, or data analytics
• Master’s degree in analytics fields (Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Engineering, or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and financial modeling
• Experience with databases and data querying using SQL
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in programming languages like Python or R
• Knowledge of financial metrics and forecasting models
• Experience working with data warehouses and ETL processes
• Strong communication skills for presenting insights to stakeholders
