Business Intelligence Analyst

Responsibilities

• Design Business Intelligence information models, dashboards, metrics, and reports to meet business objectives
• Construct complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate large datasets from relational databases
• Develop and automate advanced interactive visualizations in Tableau or Power BI
• Utilize Python for data cleaning, transformation, and automation of analytical tasks
• Conduct descriptive statistics and root-cause analysis to support decision-making
• Partner with internal stakeholders to define performance metrics and reporting requirements
• Manage BI projects from requirement definition through timely delivery to leadership
• Ensure data quality and validate information models

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• 5+ years of related work experience
• 2+ years of experience writing and using SQL
• Experience using Tableau, Power BI, or similar analytics tools
• Experience with Python

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience managing and contributing to large, complex BI projects
• Experience with statistical methods such as segmentation, regression, and trend analysis
• Experience building ETL pipelines
• Experience with WebSphere, Perl, Spring Boot, Git, or GitLab
