Business Intelligence Analyst

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions and data warehouse systems to provide business insights
• Build and manage data warehouse systems and develop tabular/multidimensional models
• Create high-performance data marts and Analysis Services reporting models
• Develop visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI and SSRS
• Design and maintain ETL programs and implement row-level security in Power BI
• Develop and manage scripts using Python, PowerShell, or C# for data extraction and cleaning
• Optimize query and report run times through SQL tuning and server performance monitoring
• Mentor junior BI developers and document technical project aspects like ERD diagrams and process flows

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or Computer Science
• 3 years of experience designing data models and reports using the Microsoft BI stack (Power BI, SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, SQL Server)
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, DAX, and MDX
• Proficiency with programming environments such as Python, C#, or PowerShell
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure platforms, including Azure Functions, Data Factory, and Fabric
• Experience developing and consuming APIs

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of machine learning and artificial intelligence programming
• BI developer and SQL certifications
• Experience with prototyping, designing, and requirements analysis
• Familiarity with Visual Studio, Report Builder, and Power Automate Desktop
