Business Improvement Manager

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and influence site senior leadership teams to identify improvement opportunities in quality, cost, service, and safety
• Identify, agree, and deliver improvement initiative objectives and timescales
• Produce written operational improvement strategy proposals for stakeholders and clients
• Ensure sites maintain traction and deliver on identified improvement projects
• Quantify and validate savings generated through initiatives with Finance
• Perform complex analysis to identify warehouse and transport trends
• Support operational improvement implementation through coaching and support
• Conduct audits across sites to identify areas for improvement

Requirements

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience applying Lean Six Sigma tools (5S, 7 Wastes, TPM, FMEA, DMAIC)
• Proven track record managing project change in warehouse or transport operations
• Strong operational warehousing or transport background
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Experience with warehouse/transport management systems
• Strong project management and LEAN methodology skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to train others in Lean Six Sigma tools
• High level of communication and influencing skills
