Business Immigration Paralegal II

Responsibilities

• Prepare and finalize complex NIV (H-1B, L, E-2/3, TN, O-1), IV (EB2/3/NIW), and PERM applications with minimal supervision
• Participate in case intake and strategy, including research on SOC classifications and private wage surveys
• Maintain timely communication with clients, including employees, managers, and HR representatives
• Monitor expiration reports and initiate timely renewal processes
• Balance workload across multiple attorneys under the guidance of practice advisors
• Perform special projects and provide leadership in supporting firm and team initiatives

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of three years of paralegal experience
• Minimum of two years of business immigration experience preparing filings (PERM, O-, and EB- experience preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with legal technology and databases
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree
• Paralegal certificate or National Association of Legal Assistants certification
• Specialty certificate provided by a State
