Business Finance Analyst

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze internal and external financial reporting, including manufacturing and operational costs.
• Perform monthly variance analysis to explain key financial drivers.
• Assist with month-end close processes, including inventory valuation and cost of goods sold (COGS).
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes to assist management in decision-making.
• Partner with operations teams to improve cost efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Provide financial support across departments, including payroll, AR, AP, and job costing.
• Ensure compliance with SEC and IRS regulations through accurate and timely reporting.
• Participate in internal and external audit activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of four years of practical experience in general ledger accounting.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Strong background in state and federal taxation requirements and reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
