Business Finance Accountant

Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end budgeting and forecasting process, including preparing data, models, and materials for stakeholders.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models in Excel to support scenario planning and business case analysis.
• Perform administrative expense variance analysis to enhance month-end results controls.
• Analyze headcount by department and prepare commentary for budget holders.
• Prepare timely data packs and financial reporting to track performance against company strategy.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation in reporting processes using BI tools and AI-powered analytics.

Requirements

• Degree in finance or a related field.
• Proven FP&A experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Strong financial modeling skills in Excel with the ability to build complex models from scratch.
• Hands-on experience with BI and data visualization tools, specifically Tableau and/or Power BI.
• Experience using ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion (preferred) or SAP.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently and proactively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
• Experience in SaaS, Telco, or similar complex transaction businesses.
• Proficiency in SQL (entry or intermediate level).
• Familiarity with Oracle PBCS or similar planning tools.
