About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as a registered principal to review, analyze, edit, and approve retail communications, advertising, sales literature, and social media for regulatory and firm policy adherence.
- Review material produced by the Investment Solutions Center of Excellence (IS COE), including publications from the Wells Fargo Investment Institute (WFII).
- Execute supervisory procedures and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and policies.
- Coordinate risk projects and participate in the planning and execution of various programs and initiatives.
- Monitor key indicators to ensure effective performance and control management of assigned business groups.
- Identify efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities through regular reviews of process improvements and technology enhancements.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning.
- Successfully completed the FINRA Series 7 exam to qualify for immediate registration.
- Ability to support morning publishing reviews starting at 5 a.m. CT (6 a.m. ET).
- Ability to obtain and maintain required FINRA licenses, including the Series 24 within 90 days of hire if not already held.
Preferred Qualifications
- Successfully completed FINRA Series 24, Series 16 (Supervisory Analyst), or Series 86/87 (Research Principal) examinations.
- Knowledge of FINRA and SEC Research and advertising rules.
- Experience with Wells Fargo’s Compliance application (RedOak).
- BS in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong negotiation, conflict management, and decision-making skills.
