About the role
Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with clients from brand executives to VPs
- Act as the main point of contact for the brand team, partnering with the Editor to drive business
- Serve as the escalation point for client issues, providing solution-based problem solving
- Negotiate win-win compromises on behalf of the team
- Line manage Content Team Leaders and drive team development and coaching
- Oversee team WIPs and direct delivery without getting caught in day-to-day project details
- Grow the account offering by upselling digital advertising and content creation capabilities
- Manage P&L for each team and forecast operational income weekly
- Own Account Review, Account Health Assessment, and Client Sat Survey processes
- Maintain and improve project and account cost forecasting
Requirements
- 10+ years in marketing services
- Relevant agency work experience
- Experience working for large FMCG clients
- Proven experience leading teams of over 15 people
- High proficiency in client commercial management and P&L oversight
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
- Process-driven and result-focused mindset
- Ability to organize and prioritize workloads effectively
- Interest in or knowledge of AI tools and new technologies
