Business Development Sr. Manager

Responsibilities

• Define and implement strategies to grow AMD's server business in the Semiconductor/EDA vertical through CPU, GPU, and software solutions.
• Conduct market, competitive, and partner capability assessments to shape vertical expansion plans.
• Build and convert the Semiconductor/EDA pipeline through deep partnerships with semiconductor companies, foundries, and EDA vendors.
• Develop solution sets tied to key EDA and CAE workloads, including RTL/logic simulation, physical verification, and AI/ML-driven chip design.
• Lead the development of vertical-specific AI solutions in collaboration with ecosystem partners.
• Incubate Proof of Concepts (POCs) and pilots, turning them into scalable, repeatable offers with reference architectures.
• Partner with server OEMs, GSIs, and CSPs to address end-customer needs across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid deployments.
• Enable sales and marketing teams with targeted plays, collateral, and training.
• Represent AMD at key industry events such as DAC, DVCon, and SEMICON.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computational Sciences.
• Proven experience in the datacenter sector.
• Established relationships and engagement within the semiconductor industry.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise technology adoption and vertical-specific business models.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and executive-level presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA degree.
• Progressive datacenter experience across key industry verticals.
• Familiarity with AI/ML stacks and enterprise software.
• Experience with industry-specific digital transformation.
