About the role

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, identify, and close new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and trade shows
  • Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach through to closing new accounts
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline focused on new customer acquisition
  • Develop targeted strategies to penetrate new accounts and expand into untapped markets
  • Conduct consistent outbound activity with a focus on high-volume prospecting
  • Manage early-stage relationships post-close to ensure successful onboarding
  • Drive revenue through new account wins, upselling, and cross-selling
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support quoting, pricing, and order execution
  • Travel domestically and internationally to meet clients and manufacturing partners

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience in a business development or hunter role
  • Experience selling into oil & gas, construction, distributors, or wholesalers preferred
  • Experience in piping, valves, fittings, or adjacent industrial product industries preferred
  • Proven track record of generating and closing new business through outbound prospecting
  • Strong commercial instincts and ability to close deals independently
  • Comfortable working in an in-office, high-activity environment
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally

Benefits
