About the role

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities by exploring potential clients and building rapport
  • Follow up on leads and communicate clear, detailed explanations of company services
  • Collaborate with technical colleagues to prepare proposals and support marketing qualifications
  • Manage existing client accounts to ensure service renewals and identify value-added opportunities
  • Maintain accurate sales data, including pipelines, orders, and contract renewal dates
  • Monitor tender inboxes, coordinate portal notifications, and distribute bid addendums
  • Research new business opportunities and stay informed on industry trends and procurement practices
  • Support prequalification processes and vendor listing updates

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or proposal experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Experience with government contract tracking systems
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, listening, and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Experience working within a professional services firm
  • Experience with government bids and local council submissions
