Business Development Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support business development and marketing efforts for Bankruptcy, Finance, Derivatives, and Private Credit practices
• Drive the creation and maintenance of collateral materials, including bespoke pitch documents, standardized pitch decks, and matter descriptions
• Support matter collection processes, league table submissions, and industry award/directory submissions
• Assist with visibility initiatives such as conferences, sponsorships, and professional association memberships
• Collaborate with CRM, Market Intelligence, and Directories teams to maintain high-quality client data
• Provide guidance and support for client relationship activities, including events and relationship reviews

Requirements

• University degree
• 3-5+ years of professional services experience
• Proven experience creating and developing business pitches
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity and comfort with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Co-Pilot)
• Strong written communication, project management, and time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage shifting priorities in a high-stakes environment
