About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of the North America business development strategy for the Transactional Practice, focusing on M&A, PE, and client growth.
- Assist in the development of proposals, including collecting practice area descriptions, representative matters, and client information.
- Identify new business opportunities and cross-selling opportunities with existing and new clients.
- Develop and maintain digital and hard copy marketing collateral, including capability statements and CVs.
- Assist in preparing directory submissions for publications such as Chambers and Legal 500.
- Coordinate logistics and content for virtual and in-person firm-sponsored events and seminars.
- Conduct client research regarding billings, matters, and relevant timekeepers.
- Monitor Practice Group business development expenditures and assist with budget management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development or marketing.
- Experience in a professional services or legal environment is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams, and Adobe Acrobat.
- High level of discretion, diplomacy, and commitment to confidentiality.
