Business Development Senior Specialist

Responsibilities

• Own and execute a strategic growth plan to identify, qualify, and close high-value new logos across Germany, Switzerland, and Austria
• Run the entire sales cycle in German, from cold outreach and initial discovery to technical demonstration, negotiation, and contract execution
• Articulate Symphony's complex security, data sovereignty, and compliance value propositions to C-suite and senior stakeholders
• Identify existing, under-penetrated DACH accounts and strategically map out divisions to scale them into enterprise-wide agreements
• Navigate localized corporate structures, including working with local Works Councils (Betriebsrat)
• Maintain a highly accurate sales pipeline within CRM and forecast revenue targets

Requirements

• 7+ years of Enterprise Software/SaaS sales experience
• Documented track record of exceeding individual quotas (ideally €1M+ / CHF 1M+ ARR)
• Native or bilingual fluency in German
• Excellent professional English
• Proven history of securing new business logos from scratch
• Deep understanding of business etiquette and corporate landscapes in Germany and Switzerland
• Experience managing long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving IT, InfoSec, Compliance, Legal, and Procurement

Preferred Qualifications

• Existing relationships in German/Swiss Wealth Management, Private Banking, or Insurance sectors
• Understanding of European financial compliance regulations (BaFin, FINMA, MiFID II, and GDPR)
