About the role

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and execution of RippleX's Capital Markets strategy to position XRPL as a leading blockchain for institutional applications.
  • Build and nurture strategic partnerships with investment banks, investment firms, and financial market infrastructure providers.
  • Identify and pursue new business development opportunities at the intersection of traditional capital markets and blockchain technology.
  • Lead complex deal negotiations and partnership agreements with senior executives at major financial institutions.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and trading teams to develop use cases and achieve product-market fit.
  • Develop comprehensive business plans, proposals, and pitches to showcase Ripple's value proposition to institutional audiences.
  • Serve as a thought leader on blockchain applications in capital markets at industry events and with key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in capital markets with a substantial traditional finance background (investment banks, trading firms, or asset managers).
  • Deep understanding of digital assets, blockchain technology, and their applications in institutional finance.
  • Proven track record of developing first-of-a-kind partnerships and closing complex deals within the financial services sector.
  • Established network of contacts within capital markets, including senior executives at financial institutions.
  • Strong business development and deal-making skills, managing the entire partner lifecycle from strategy to implementation.
  • Exceptional ability to grasp sophisticated technology products and communicate their value to institutional partners.
