About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term strategic relationships with customers in Thailand, specifically within fleet operation, maintenance, and MRO segments.
  • Drive sales and business development by identifying new opportunities to expand the customer base and increase revenue.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends and customer needs in the Industrial (rail, defense, mining, wind) and Off-highway (construction, ports) segments.
  • Collaborate with internal business lines to develop tailored sales strategies and solutions.
  • Provide regular updates to management regarding sales activities, customer feedback, and market trends.
  • Prepare customer visit reports and country plans, and represent ZF at roadshows, seminars, or exhibitions.

Requirements

  • Engineering educational background.
  • Over 5 years of experience in Industrial Sales (e.g., rail, defense, mining, wind) and/or Off-highway sales (e.g., construction, ports).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the Thai market and local business practices.
  • Fluency in both Thai and English.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage with high-level stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with the Thailand governmental tendering process.
  • Experience in market and dealer development for the independent aftermarket.
  • Familiarity with overseas markets such as Laos, Cambodia, or Myanmar.
