About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies
- Onboard merchants for payment gateways within the gaming industry
- Lead zonal sales team members to achieve overall sales targets
- Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned accounts
- Negotiate and close agreements with large customers and partners
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts
- Perform research to identify new potential customers and market opportunities
- Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency
- Report directly to the CBO
Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in software solution selling
- 5+ years of experience in selling and managing E-Governance solutions preferred
- Experience in creating and managing channel sales
- Experience working with Banks as a channel partner preferred
- Proven track record of creating and managing high-performance sales teams
- Experience setting up processes, SOPs, and performance appraisal metrics
- Strong communication and team management skills
- Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory
- Degree in Sales, Business Administration, or a relevant field
- Fluency in English, Hindi, and one local language
