Business Development Representative

Responsibilities

• Research and develop new business opportunities through lead databases and prospecting.
• Build partnerships with various sales resources, including UPS and Supply Chain Solutions, to improve lead generation networks.
• Conduct in-person sales visits to prospective customers to present risk mitigation value propositions.
• Perform due diligence, including inventory audits and financial analysis, to ensure compliance with business requirements.
• Drive growth within the existing customer base by increasing product utilization and implementing additional solutions.
• Maintain awareness of market conditions, products, and services to effectively sell UPSC offerings.
• Develop internal relationships with Product Managers and Operations staff to enhance the customer experience.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of B2B and sales experience.
• Understanding of supply chain concepts and the ability to identify and resolve issues within a supply chain.
• Strong financial analysis skills and understanding of basic financial terminology (cash flows, operating profit/loss, etc.).
• Ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate risk mitigation solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or international equivalent.
• Current P&C producer insurance license.
