About the role
Responsibilities
- Research and develop new business opportunities through lead databases and prospecting.
- Build partnerships with various sales resources, including UPS and Supply Chain Solutions, to improve lead generation networks.
- Conduct in-person sales visits to prospective customers to present risk mitigation value propositions.
- Perform due diligence, including inventory audits and financial analysis, to ensure compliance with business requirements.
- Drive growth within the existing customer base by increasing product utilization and implementing additional solutions.
- Maintain awareness of market conditions, products, and services to effectively sell UPSC offerings.
- Develop internal relationships with Product Managers and Operations staff to enhance the customer experience.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of B2B and sales experience.
- Understanding of supply chain concepts and the ability to identify and resolve issues within a supply chain.
- Strong financial analysis skills and understanding of basic financial terminology (cash flows, operating profit/loss, etc.).
- Ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate risk mitigation solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or international equivalent.
- Current P&C producer insurance license.
