About the role

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new clients and project opportunities within target markets
  • Track and manage leads, opportunities, and client interactions
  • Build and maintain relationships with industrial clients and key decision-makers
  • Regularly visit client facilities and job sites (anticipated travel ~30%)
  • Analyze market conditions and project cycles to determine engagement strategies
  • Coordinate the end-to-end process for RFPs, RFQs, and other client solicitations
  • Lead the preparation of proposals and qualifications packages
  • Work with engineering staff to define project scope, approach, and fee estimates
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the company CRM
  • Support the transition of awarded projects to internal project teams

Requirements

  • 5–15+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client management
  • Experience in consulting, industrial or commercial engineering, construction, or related services
  • Strong understanding of engineering or construction project delivery
  • Experience preparing proposals, scopes of work, and project budgets
  • Ability to meet clients on-site and develop long-term professional relationships
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated and able to manage opportunities independently
